this set fucking ruled. my dad and i were both so so excited, and everything about this set went above and beyond our expectations. the crowd was mostly older folks since lana del ray was playing at the same time on another stage, and honestly the crowd behavior and energy were both perfect because of that. everyone helped me move further up since i am.. not tall. and was super respectfull and happy to be there overall. dave grohl is also so cool, his stage presence is incredible, and he is so fucking funny. all the band introductions were really great, and the suprise reveal that michael bublé was there segueing into a cover of haven't met you yet was actually insane. plus, all the moments with violet grohl ruled. she is so so talented and pretty, and her moments on stage were absolutely standouts. overall i had an incredible time watching this with my dad, and we bonded a lot over these songs. it's hard to pick standouts because everything was so good, but my hero and everlong (even though theyre basic choices) were really wonderfull moments in my life.
